Creating, Evolving, Mentoring.

I began my career in traditional advertising, with a background in graphic design and fine art, and quickly found my footing as an art director. Over the years, I worked my way up to creative director, driven not just by a love of design but by a deeper passion: helping others grow.

As I stepped into leadership roles, first as a senior art director and later as creative director, I made it my mission to nurture the next generation of creatives. I launched the PPK Design Studio, hiring young designers, guiding them through the pace and expectations of agency life, and helping them grow in skill, confidence, and creative voice. Watching them get promoted and thrive has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey thus far.

That same spirit of mentorship led me to start an internship program, bringing in students from a variety of schools and giving them real-world opportunities whenever I could. Eventually, this evolved into a teaching role at the University of South Florida, where I created a course called The Business of Graphic Design. For nearly a decade, I have used that platform to connect students with real clients, tight deadlines, and all the moving parts that come with creative problem-solving in the real world.

Eventually, I began exploring new creative spaces, expanding beyond design and into the fast-paced world of social media and content creation. I fell in love with the energy of production, spending time on set, working with props, wardrobe, set design, and especially food styling. I now oversee a wide range of on-set needs, collaborating with talented teams across departments to bring ideas to life with clarity and impact.

At the heart of it all is a simple belief: every detail matters. Whether it is a perfectly placed prop, a balanced composition, or a young designer’s first portfolio piece, I see each element as part of something greater. My creative philosophy is about recognizing potential, making connections, and assembling the right pieces to create something truly meaningful.

My career has been one of constant evolution, growing as a designer, mentor, teacher, and producer. Through it all, my greatest reward has always been helping others find their path and succeed.
